Willow is a bit of a different type of story for me, but it explores a few things that I enjoy- such as sensory deprivation.

BLURB

Making decisions is sometimes difficult for Willow Shaw, but loving Cade Lawson comes easily. Too bad Cade regards him as too young to know his own mind.

EXCERPT
"Your dad asked me to keep an eye on you, Will. That's not something I take lightly." Look, not lust. The reminder was timely. When Matt Shaw had requested the favor, Cade had pictured himself and Will watching action movies, hanging out and having fun, much as they had when the kid was younger. Reality had been far different. Will snorted. "Right. I forgot. Well, I was seventeen then, and maybe he had some excuse, but I'm not a kid anymore. It's been eighteen months of fun with you peering over my shoulder, but I'm nineteen now and I don't need you looking out for me anymore."
Cade reached out a hand to clasp Will's slender shoulder, but the young man flinched back, almost hiding behind the door. He shook off his disappointment. Will just didn't like him anymore; he had to get over the loss of affection. "You're still young, Will, and since your Dad can't be here to guide you, he asked me to keep an eye on you because he loves you."
"Yeah. He fucking loves me so much, where is he?"
Sadly, Cade shook his head. He clenched his fist around his keys in frustration. This wasn't the first time they'd had this argument, and probably wouldn't be the last. "He's working a lot of extra hours to pay for your college fees."
"Tell me, Cade, when's the last time you spoke to my dad?"
Guilty heat burned his neck. He'd spoken to Matt Shaw just yesterday. The man called regularly. Cade considered him a good friend. "Will, your dad and I have been friends a long time. We speak frequently, and it's not always about you, huh?"
"Figures. You know when I spoke to him last? I can't remember. It's my nineteenth birthday, today, Cade. This is my party. You'd think he could call today, wouldn't you?"
Damn Matt Shaw. Helplessly, Cade shrugged. "Happy Birthday, Will. I'm sorry to disrupt your party, but I've had a long night and I have to work in the morning. I just need peace and quiet and sleep."
Footsteps in the gravel behind him drew Will's eye and he smirked knowingly at Cade. "Here's your boyfriend. Looks like your long night isn't over yet. Keep the noise down, you two. I have an exam in the morning and..." He leaned forward confidingly. "You may not realize this, but you're fucking loud when you fuck, dude."

Crawl in Bed With Louisa Masters

Crawling Into Bed
With
Louisa Masters and a Good Book

Important things first, are these sheets silk or cotton?

Cotton. But if lots of people buy my books, I'm splashing out on silk! Hot pink, or red. Sapphire blue. Something sexy and bold!

What are you wearing?

*sigh* I wish I could say a chiffon and satin negligee...but I don't own anything like that. Cotton pajama pants and an old T-shirt are more my speed. Although, sometimes when it's hot I get freaky and forgo the pants *wiggles eyebrows*

What are we snacking on in bed while we read tonight?

Icecream! Gimme gimme gimme! Pick your flavor, and we can share.

If I open this nightstand drawer, what will I find?

hehehehe...I'll leave that to your imagination.

Do you roll up in the blankets like a burrito, or kick the covers off during the night?

Total burrito! Even in summer I have to have at least a sheet.

Can I put my cold feet on your calves to warm them up?

Not unless you're planning to put out, baby! Some things are reserved for a special few *winks*

What are we reading?

Diving in Deep, my foray into m/m/m.

The bell over the door dinged, and Jake glanced up from the computer. Any distraction from the bookkeeping was welcome. He smiled at Troy. Was it that time already?
"Hey,” his lover said, crossing the room and leaning across the desk. Jake met him halfway, planting a quick, hard kiss on those soft lips. A sharply indrawn breath drew his attention to the man who’d followed Troy into the office.
“Hey, yourself.” Jake pulled back and nodded to the stranger. “Going to introduce me to your friend?”
Troy half-turned. “Sure. Jake Paulson, Cameron Hall. Cameron came out to the pontoon with us today, and now he wants to get his dive certificate.”
Jake reached for the drawer where they kept the list of reputable dive instructors. “No problem. We have a list of some excellent dive companies. I’ll make a copy for you.”
Troy cleared his throat and looked away. “Actually, I said we’d give him the lessons.”
Jake’s hand froze on the drawer handle. What the hell? “Oh.” He raised an eyebrow, but Troy’s gaze was fixed on the desk. “Okay. Um, what arrangement did you make?” They didn’t do certification lessons. He studied the stranger—Cameron. He was kind of gangly and had a very faint tan, probably as a result of the day on the water. His hair was the same shade between blond and brown as Troy’s, but Troy spent so much time outdoors that the sun had streaked his with gold. Cameron fiddled with his watch. “Troy said you’d work that out.” “Did he?” Jake glanced at Troy, who made a sheepish face. “Yeah. Uh, I thought he could come out on the boat with the regular day-trippers, and you or I could do his lessons. At a reasonable rate?” The questioning lift to his last sentence was accompanied by his puppy-dog look, the one Jake could never resist. His gaze met Troy’s mocha-latte colored eyes, and his stomach did its usual flip. He sighed. “Sure. Sit down, Cameron, and we’ll work something out.” Troy grinned, shooting him a grateful look, and the hairs on the back of Jake’s neck stood on end. Why did this matter so much to Troy? He turned his attention back to Cameron as the man sat in one of the visitor’s chairs. Cameron’s hazel eyes gazed back at him. “So, I’ll leave you two to it.” Troy put a hand on Cameron’s shoulder and squeezed, and a shock ran down Jake’s spine. Troy was a hands-on person, but…His lover smiled at him and he forced himself to smile back. He was being ridiculous. He had no reason to be jealous. Troy was being nice to a tourist, that was all.

Night of the Aliens
Copyright October 2012 © Lee Brazil

Henry Beaumont had faced the worm in his tequila bottle too many times the last few weeks. But damn it, what else could he do?
Garrison was off his fucking rocker. He HAD to say something.  It wasn't in his nature to just sit back and let people, even people he loved, pull crap like this. "It's just fuckin' wrong!" He jabbed his tequila bottle into the night sky. "Can't deceive people like that."
Fucking Garrison though...would he listen to reason? "Fuck no."
A twig snapped in the underbrush. Henry ignored it. All kind of creatures out in this country side. How many calls came into the station every night about mysterious intruders and spooky noises? "Fucking raccoons and possums....that's your intruder."
Now this...he glared at the green glow rising across the woods. From Garrison's place. It was his night off; he'd turned off his phone. The other deputies could handle Garrison. Serve the smart ass right if they arrested him.
"Green fog is not against the law." He mimicked Garrison's smug attitude. "I'm not going to do anything. The mass hysteria will be all on them." Henry gulped more tequila.
"Shoulda beat some sense into that bastard." The green phosphorescent fog continued to rise over the tree line, an eerie Halloween joke by the man everyone already considered creepy because he was gay and scary smart.
How long would it take after this before the town added alien to that list of truths about Garrison?
