Flash Fiction Friday - You're Not Going to Believe Me

You're Not Going to Believe Me

"You're probably wondering why I'm sitting here."
"No." He loosened his tie and hung it on the rack.
"Naked."  My cheeks burned.
He ignored me.
This wasn't going to work.  I could tell.  I went with plan B. "I thought it would be sexy."
One neat black brow rose. He looked pointedly at my jeans and t-shirt on the bed.
"Ummm...there was a flood?"
Both brows lowered darkly.
"Fine. There's a spider on my shirt. I saw it when I got out of the shower."
"How many hours you been up there, waiting for me to kill that spider, Devon?"

  11. This is cute, it similar to Yvonne's story about the boyfriend who thought he saw a rat. Well, I hate spiders and rats too, but he deserves a spanking. Lee, well done.

  12. LMAO!! Lee that was hilarious! I don't blame him. I'm the same way about spiders. What cracked me up was that he was trying to come up lame reasons why he was sitting on the table naked. Too funny. You never cease to entertain me my friend.

  16. This reminded me of my ex, Lee! *LFMAO* Is he just arachnophobic or is he afraid of all creepy-crawlies? Great one!
