Crawling Into Bed With Lexi Ander And a Good Book

Important things first, are these sheets silk or cotton?
*bounces on the bed* Cotton because when getting down to business, the last thing I want to do is slide off the bed.

What are you wearing?
Oversized T-shirt and underwear.

What are we snacking on in bed while we read tonight?
Chicken in a biscuit. Can you please pass the Kraft Easy Cheese spray can? I need to put a dollop on top of my biscuit.

If I open this nightstand drawer, what will I find?
*blushes 10 shades of crimson* *pushes you to the other side of the bed* Uhm. You really don't want to look in there. That's the naughty fun drawer. No, you cannot borrow the handcuffs.

Do you roll up in the blankets like a burrito, or kick the covers off during the night?
Ha! I start out like a burrito and end up with no covers and hogging the bed.

Can I put my cold feet on your calves to warm them up?
LOL! Yea, no. I might have to push you over the edge if you do.

What are we reading?
Dragon’s Eye, Sumeria’s Sons #5

Series should be read in order.
Release Date: October 7, 2015
Blurb:
In the wake of birth and betrayal, Ushna takes the God Ashur to Tristan in a last desperate bid to save Tristan's life—and is helpless to do anything but watch as Ashur instead buries him in a grave. Though he has no desire to go on living, having now lost Brian and Tristan, Ushna has no choice. Not only do their children need him, the mysterious Simurgh has come out of hiding and forces him to continue on—for there is much to do and little time to do it, especially with treachery and danger closing in on them from every side.

EXCERPT

Exclusive Excerpt #6

Instead of asking questions, Mother followed me into the house. Corey's finger's lightly cupped my elbow, not breaking contact even as he spoke to others. From the foyer I could see the French doors in the living room had been thrown wide, the furniture pushed back against the walls. Neesie directed the warriors as they carefully lowered the wounded in the places prepared for them.

Gregori Borchetta, dressed in formal Magi robes, stood next to Nathan, both of them ready to attend the injured. Everyone glanced up when they realized I was watching. I couldn't look away from their expressions of sorrow and pain. Especially Neesie and Nathan, who were like family to me. Neesie, her brown eyes so like Tristan's, gave me a watery smile but Nathan glared. The condemnation in his expression told me where he placed the blame. I'd failed in his eyes and I couldn't disagree with him.

Meet Lexi Ander:
Lexi has always been an avid reader, and at a young age started reading (secretly) her mother’s romances (the ones she was told not to touch). She was the only teenager she knew of who would be grounded from reading. Later, with a pencil and a note book, she wrote her own stories and shared them with friends because she loved to see their reactions. A Texas transplant, Lexi now kicks her boots up in the Midwest with her Yankee husband and her eighty-pound puppies named after vacuum cleaners.
